Morzine is a picturesque village steeped in history and tradition situated between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc
in the Haute Savoie region of France. The architecture of the village
has retained its alpine charm with solid chalets constructed from pine,
stone and slate, materials traditional to the region. The area has a
rich tradition in cuisine and wine which can be sampled in the many
restaurants of Morzine. It is one of the most easily accessible alpine
resorts, just a 70 minute drive from Geneva airport or 9 hours drive from Calais.
Morzine offers all the facilities you would associate with a modern
resort town - English language cinema, ten pin bowling, ice skating, ice hockey, paragliding, health clubs,
massage, sauna,
excellent restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There is a Wednesday
local market and a busy town centre which will cater for all your
holiday essentials.
The traditional life of the village can be best appreciated by a
guided trip to the old town, departs 10am every Thursday in season.
Local produce is widely displayed in shop windows from cheeses
and cured meats to traditional pottery. Regional delicacies can be
discovered in the local restaurants in the form of traditional fare:
fondues, tartiflette, diots and savoy wines.
The chalet is located in the village of Morzine, a short walk
from all the amenities.

This high altitude (1800m) car free resort was created
in 1967
and is closely linked with Morzine. The resort is easily accessed by
the Prodain cable car from Morzine and sits at top the vertical cliffs of the Vallee
des Ardoisieres, a truly spectacular setting.

Pleney slopes of Morzine.

driving....
There are many options to get to and from Morzine. We are one of the
closest resorts to the UK at just a 9 hours drive or 560miles from
Calais. We can offer secure parking for up to 2 cars on site in our
underground garage. We also have additional parking for a further 2
vehicles on the drive. If you do decide to drive you will need to carry
a hazard triangle and a spare set of light bulbs
for your vehicle.

Geneva airport is just 70 minutes by car. Many airlines fly into
Geneva including Easyjet which offers daily flights from Liverpool, East

Travel to and from resort is not included in the holiday price,
however buses run from the airport on a regular basis and cost 37€ per
person each way. Alternatively we suggest to fully explore the area you
hire a car at Geneva airport.
how to find us....
From the A40 at Cluses. Go through Cluses taking the D902 to Taninges.
Turn right at the T junction in Taninges and climb up the valley heading
to Les Gets. Continue through Les Gets to Morzine where you will reach a
roundabout, continue straight on into Morzine Village. Follow the signs
to Avoriaz, the Pleney slopes are to your right go straight on at the
next roundabout under the bridge and down to the river. Turn right at
the next roundabout and take the switchback bend. Chalet Le Crepet is
100m on your right.
